NORTH CANTON, OH. (THECOUNT) — Anthony Sonny Sisouphanh, of Akron, Ohio has been identified as the suspect arrested and charged with murder in North Canton Sunday morning.
Sisouphanh, 28, was taken into custody without incident after police located him in Akron around 6:30 Sunday morning.
According to police, a man was discovered fatally shot in the driveway of a residence in the 500 block of Hartman St. SE, in North Canton shortly before 12:30 a.m.
Sisouphanh was booked into the Stark County Jail around 9:30 a.m. and charged with 1 count of murder along with 1 count of attempt to commit murder, reports WKYC.
The identity of the victim has not been released at this time.
The deadly incident remains under investigation.
