HARRISON, NY. (THECOUNT) — Jordan Wachtell and Eric Goldberg, of Ardsley, NY, have been identified as the victims in a fatal wrong-way crash on Interstate 287 near Harrison Thursday night.
Wachtell and 17-year-old Goldberg, were both killed in a wrong-way I-287 crash in Harrison.
According to police, for unknown reasons, a Jeep was driving the wrong-way between exits 9 and 9A on I-287 around 8:30 p.m. Thursday, when it collided with a BMW occupied by Goldberg and Wachtell.
The crash caused the Jeep to roll over, reports News12.
Goldberg and Wachtell were both pronounced dead at the scene of multiple blunt force trauma injuries.
The driver of the Jeep is expected to survive after suffering unknown minor injuries.
There is no word yet on charges against the Jeep driver.
The Jeep driver was not identified.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
