GREENE COUNTY, TN. (THECOUNT) — Gabrielle Boyd has been identified as the victim in a fatal single-vehicle crash Greene County, Tennessee on Monday.
Boyd, 37, was killed in a crash after a vehicle she was operating crashed in Greenville around 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
According to reports, Boyd was traveling in a Honda UAX at a high rate of speed when the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway in the 2600 block of West Allen’s Bridge Road. The vehicle then made contact with a utility pole.
Boyd was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The passenger, 56-year-old Terry Burriell, also of Greeneville, suffered unknown injuries.
Burriell was not wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash, reports WJHL.
The crash remains under investigation.
