CALABASAS, CA. (THECOUNT) — NBA legend Kobe Bryant is dead, multiple sources are reporting Sunday.
Bryant, 41, was reportedly killed in a helicopter crash in California Sunday morning, according to TMZ and multiple other news outlets.
One day before his death, Kobe took to Twitter to congratulate LeBron James on passing his all-time NBA scoring record:
TMZ reports Bryant is among five who were killed when the helicopter crashed in Calabasas, California, which is just west of Los Angeles.
Kobe Bryant’s wife Vanessa nor his children, Natalia, Bianka, Gianna and Capri, were aboard the doomed aircraft, according to reports.
