ORANGE COUNTY, CA. (THECOUNT) — Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has confirmed the third case of coronavirus in the U.S. in Orange County, California early Sunday.

The patient, a traveler from Wuhan, China, is currently in isolation in an Orange County hospital and listed in “good condition,” the OC Health Care Agency Communicable Disease Control Division announced in a press release Sunday.

“The OC Health Care Agency’s (HCA) Communicable Disease Control Division received confirmation from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) this evening that an Orange County, California case has tested positive for the novel coronavirus,” the agency said.

The figures reported Sunday morning cover the previous 24 hours and mark an increase of 15 deaths and 688 cases for a total of 1,975 infections, reports ABCChicago.
