HONEYVILLE, UT. (THECOUNT) — A death has occurred at Honeyville, Utah Crystal Hot Springs Saturday after a woman from Cache Valley apparently drowned.
The 51-year-old woman, who has not been named, died Saturday at the hot spring in Honeyville after witnesses observed her “struggling” in one of the pools.
According to an announcement from the Box Elder County Sheriff’s Office, a report came in that a woman had possibly drowned at the swimming and hot spring area in Honeyville around 3 p.m., reports FOX13.
Witnesses said she was swimming in the large pool when they noticed she was struggling. She was pulled from the pool and other visitors with medical experience performed CPR until emergency responders arrived.
The female victim was transported to an area hospital where she was later pronounced dead.
An official cause of death has not yet been revealed.
