MONTGOMERY, AL. (THECOUNT) — Mike Barnett, owner of recently opened Montgomery restaurant, “Patriots Grill,” died Saturday of an apparent heart attack. He was 49.
Barnett opened the restaurant a few months ago near Maxwell Air Force Base.
His family says Barnett apparently died from a heart attack Saturday morning while on a trip celebrating his wife’s birthday.
The eatery is located at, 1961 Bell St in Montgomery, A.
Business associates say Patriots Grill will be closed “for a few days,” reports WSFA.
Barnett once said it was always his dream to own a restaurant.
