WARREN, OH. (THECOUNT) — A Warren, Ohio police has been shot Monday evening according to multiple reports.
According to officials, an officer was shot near Livi Steel in Howland Township on Monday night.
The officer, who has not been identified, was shot and transported to an area hospital, according to reports.
This happened in the area of Pine Avenue and Burton Street on the city’s southeast side around 5:30 p.m. Warren police have the area blocked off, reports WKBN.
The condition of the officer was not provided by officials.
