MANCHESTER, NH. (THECOUNT) — Billy Slatton, Deering, NH, has been identified as the pedestrian fatally struck by three vehicles while attempting to cross Interstate 293 North in Manchester, New Hampshire, Saturday night, according to State Police.

Slatton, 54, was riding as a passenger in a vehicle with Kimberly Slatton, 58, when their Toyota RAV4 had broke down on I-293 in Manchester.

The pair pulled over when Billy exited the vehicle and was struck by a passing three vehicles around 10:30 p.m. Saturday.

Billy tried to cross the highway to get to a local gas station and was hit by three cars in the road, reports Boston25.

Slatton was pronounced dead at the scene of multiple blunt force trauma injuries.

No other injuries were reported in the deadly incident.

All three drivers stayed on scene and fully cooperated with troopers.

The cause of the incident remains under investigation.
