OTTAWA, CAN. (THECOUNT) — Police in Ottawa say “many injuries” have been reported following a shooting in the central part of the city.
Officials say they are responding to a mass shooting incident in the 400 block of Gilmour Street.

Police say a coordinated response is underway.
Fatalities are unknown at this time.

Police are urging people to avoid the area.
