LITTLE ROCK, AR. (THECOUNT) — Ricky Toney, of Hope, Arkansas, has been identified as the pedestrian fatally struck in Texarkana early Friday, according to reports.
Toney, 50, was fatally struck by an SUV Friday morning in Texarkana, state police reported.

Toney was on-foot in the area of U.S. 67 when a 1998 Chevrolet Suburban traveling south on the highway hit him about 2:18 a.m., according to state police.
Toney was pronounced dead at the scene of multiple blunt force trauma injuries.
The Suburban driver was not injured, reports KATV.
State police said conditions were clear and wet when the crash happened.
The cause of the deadly incident remains under investigation.
