GREELEYVILLE, SC. (THECOUNT) — Mark Kristopher Bryant, who was involved in a March shooting during a street basketball game, has turned himself into police over a deadly shooting in Greeleyville on Saturday.
Bryant, 21, was being sought by officials in a deadly shooting last Saturday in Williamsburg County.
Bryant turned himself over to deputies at the Sheriff’s Office at around 8 a.m. Tuesday morning, reports Live5.
Bryant was wanted for a Saturday shooting that happened in the Greeleyville community, deputies said.
“Family members of Bryant’s made contact with Investigators yesterday afternoon and said that they would be bringing him to the Sheriff’s Office the following morning,” a post from the sheriff’s office on Facebook stated. “The Williamsburg Co Sheriffs Office would like to thank everyone with the information provided that assisted us in this portion of the investigation.”
In March 2019, Bryant was arrested following a shooting during an argument over a street basketball game. In that incident, Bryant charged with attempted murder and pointing and presenting a firearm.
The current shooting remains under investigation.
