MEXICO CITY, MX. (THECOUNT) — Sebastián Ferrat, perhaps best known for his work in “El Señor de los Cielos,” aka, “The Lord of the Heavens,” has died at 41.
According to reports, Ferrat died after contracting a bacterium after eating pork.
“A big hug to heaven my dear Sebastian Ferrat forever,” wrote his colleague Alejandro Sandí.
The actor, who gives life to Juan Antonio Marcado in the third season of the series, had been hospitalized in Mexicali, Baja California, for several months and his family preferred to keep everything secret, reports Telediario.
They reveal that the infection The actor contracted is Cysticercosis, which is generated from the consumption of undercooked pork and that contains larval cysts.
Ferrat is also known for his participation in series such as El Vato, El Señor de los Cielos and El Yankee.
