CULLMAN, AL. (THECOUNT) — Seth Leverette, of Botts Drive, Bainbridge, Georgia, has been identified as the pedestrian fatally struck by a vehicle near Cullman, Alabama, according to Tuesday reports.
Leverette, 24, was killed Monday night while on-foot in the area of Interstate 64 near mile marker 307 in Cullman.
Leverette was walking on I-64 in Cullman when he was struck by a 2017 Chevrolet Camaro around 11:30 p.m.
He was pronounced dead at the scene of multiple blunt force trauma injuries.
The driver of the Chevrolet was not injured, reports CullmanTimes.
The crash occurred two miles west of Cullman.
It is unclear why Leverette was in the Cullman area.
Nothing further is available as ALEA Troopers continue to investigate.
