IBERIA PARISH, LA. (THECOUNT) — Brandon Malveaux of New Iberia has been identified as the victim shot and killed on Saturday night in New Iberia, according to Monday morning reports.
Malveaux, 26, was fatally shot during what police believed was a robbery attempt gone wrong.
The shooting occurred around 10:00 pm on Saturday, in the 100 block of Cotton Street.
23-year-old Tyler Bourque and 50-year-old Ronald Bourque were arrested Sunday and booked on charges of Attempted Robbery and First Degree murder in connection with the shooting.
Police say that more arrests in the case are anticipated, reports KATC.
