DURHAM, NC. (THECOUNT) — Amanda Robin Crist, of Durham, North Carolina, has been identified as the victim in a Sunday morning fatal single-vehicle crash in Durham, according to reports.

Crist, 22, died in a crash in Durham Sunday morning around 8:30 a.m., according to officials.

Reports say, Crist was operating a Hyundai vehicle on East Woodcroft Parkway near Copper Creek Drive, when for unknown reasons, she lost control of the vehicle. The Hyundai then collided with a substantial tree.

Crist was transported to an area hospital where she was later pronounced dead of multiple blunt force trauma injuries.

“Speed is a factor. It has not been determined at this time if there was any impairment,” report CBS17.

According to social media, Crist is originally from Claysburg, Pennsylvania.
