Pahrump High School ‘Health Aide’ Verona Worthington Busted Selling Meth To NV Students

PAHRUMP, NV. (THECOUNT) — Pahrump Valley High School health Aide Verona Worthington has been identified as the suspect arrested and charged with selling methamphetamine to teenagers.

Nye County Sheriff’s Office said, Worthington, 38, was part of a Pahrump drug-selling operation.

According to officials, on Dec. 19 school resource officers received a tip that alleged a Pahrump Valley High School employee was selling meth to teenagers.

The employee was later identified as Worthington of Pahrump. She was alleged to have sold meth to a 16-year-old Pathways High School student.

During the course of the investigation, it was determined that Worthington traveled to local Park to distribute meth to two other teens on Dec. 18.

Authorities also say 21-year-old Daniel Sandquist was present during the time of the sale. Captain Boruchowitz said Worthington was in a relationship with 50-year-old William Toldt, who was a wanted fugitive who faces domestic battery and drug charges, reports MyNews4.

A search warrant was executed at Toldt’s residence, during which she admitted to meth use and to selling the drug to juveniles. Worthington also admitted she was selling the drug at the direction of Toldt.

Later, Sandquist arrived on the scene and was questioned. He admitted to being present during the transportation of drugs and admitted to using meth provided by Worthington.
