OUACHITA PARISH, LA. (THECOUNT) — A death has occurred at Graphic Packaging International Beverage Plant on Jonesboro Rd in West Monroe, LA, according to Thursday reports.
The Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office is investigating after responding to a call of a fatal incident at 1:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
OPSO say the death involved a forklift operator. It is unclear if the forklift driver was the fatality.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
OPSO says the incident is classified as an industrial accident at this point, reports KONE.
The name of the victim has not been released.
OPSO has not released any other information regarding the accident.
