GREAT FALLS, MT. (THECOUNT) — Great Falls Police, the U.S. Marshals Office and the FBI, are investigation after a multiple-victim homicide at Emerald City Casino Tuesday morning in Great Falls.
Officials responded to a 911 call requesting assistance to the Emerald City Casino located on 10th Avenue South in Great Falls, MT. When first responders arrived, they discovered three victims deceased inside the casino.
A fourth victim was located a short time later, and the release says that person is currently recovering from unknown injuries at Benefis Health System, reports GreatFallsTribune.
Investigators began a search for the suspect, who was fatally shot by police at approximately 5:45 a.m. in the area of 26th Street and 7th Avenue South.
The public can expect to see a police presence at the two incident sites over the next several days, but GFPD said there is no longer a danger to the public.
