MO Active Shooter Reported Tuesday At ‘Springfield Underground’ Facility ‘Avoid Area’

SPRINGFIELD, MO. (THECOUNT) — A massive police presence is currently at the Springfield Underground plant on reports of a active shooter Tuesday morning.

Multiple law enforcement units and emergency responders are on scene near Springfield Underground Tuesday where an active shooter situation is reported.

Police Chief Paul Williams said the scene is secure and the investigation ongoing, reports OzarksFirst.

Injuries are unknown at this time.

The facility is located on Le Compte Road in Springfield, MO.
