ST. MARTINVILLE, LA. (THECOUNT) — LaThresa Yvonne Joubert, of Lafayette, Louisiana, has been identified as the body found floating in Lake Martin on Friday, according to reports.
The body of Joubert, 26, was found in Lake Martin Friday and investigators are still trying to determine how she ended up there.
Joubert, active military, was found shortly after 9:30 a.m. Friday off Rookery Road at Lake Martin near Breaux Bridge.
Joubert cause of death is yet to be determined and an autopsy is pending.
Foul play is suspected, and the investigation remains ongoing, reports KLFY.
