KILGORE, TX. (THECOUNT) — Penelope Ann Stoudt, 56, of Kilgore is being held as the prime suspect in the Monday Kilgore homicide of 65-year-old Timothy Joe Stoudt, according to Tuesday reports.
According to the Gregg County Sheriff’s Office, the homicide occurred around about 2:15 p.m. Monday at 3851 Farm-to-Market Road 2087.
Penelope Ann Stoudt is currently in custody on a no-bond order.
A cause or manner of death was not provided by officials.
Local news outlets identified the couple’s last name as “Stout,” however, THECOUNT.com has learned that spelling is incorrect.
According to records, “Timmy Stoudt” was originally from Gurdon, Arkansas.
Penelope Ann Stoudt was a former health care assistant at City of Kilgore, according to Facebook.
