LAURENS, SC. (THECOUNT) — Marsia Rose Barragan of Laurens, South Carolina, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Sunday single-vehicle crash, according to local reports.
Barragan, 18, was killed in a single-vehicle crash on SC-49 in Laurens around 4 a.m. on Sunday.
According to the Laurens County Coroner’s Office, Barragan was operating a vehicle on SC-49 near Curry Road, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway early Sunday morning.
The vehicle then struck a guardrail before coming to rest after striking a tree.
No further information on the dealy incident was provided by officials.
