WAPELLO COUNTY, IA. (THECOUNT) — Jessie Allen Parker, of Eddyville, IA, has been identified as the victim in a fatal single-vehicle rollover crash in Southeast Iowa early Monday morning, according to Tuesday morning reports.
Parker, 28, was killed in a pickup truck crash in Wapello County, Iowa early Monday morning.
According to officials, Jacob ‘Jake’ Ross was operating a vehicle around 3 a.m. on 160th Street in Eddyville, when he lost control on a curve in the road.
The pickup then rolled over before coming to a rest in a culvert.
Parker was pronounced dead at the scene.
Ross was transported to Ottumwa Regional Hospital for his injuries, reports KTVO.
According to troopers, both victims were unrestrained at the time of the crash.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
