RAYVILLE, LA. (THECOUNT) — Regina Watson, of Pioneer, Louisiana, has been identified as the victim in fatal Monday morning vehicle crash near Rayville, according to reports.
Authorities say, Watson, 50, was operating a vehicle on Interstate 20 when the crash occurred after 8:30 a.m. Monday.
According to Louisiana State Police, Watson was traveling on I-20 near Rayville, when for unknown reasons, she crossed centerlines and exited the roadway. Officials determined her vehicle fishtailed causing it to rollover multiple times.
Watson was pronounced dead at the scene of injuries suffered in the violent crash.
Watson was wearing her seatbelt but did not survive the crash, reports KNOE.
The wreck remains under investigation.
