HUBBARD TOWNSHIP, MN. (THECOUNT) — Loren S. Lillemoen, of Mayville, ND, has been identified as the victim killed in a single-vehicle pickup truck crash Sunday in northwestern Minnesota, according to local reports.

‘Pizza’ Lillemoen, 51, was operating a pickup truck traveling on north on Hwy. 75 when the fatal rollover crash occurred on Sunday before 4 a.m.

Lillemoen was operating a Dodge Dakota pickup in Polk County, when for unknown reasons, he crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 3:50 a.m. Sunday, the State Patrol said in a report.

The truck entered a culvert and rolled near the intersection of Hwy. 75 and SW. 400th Street in Hubbard Township near Climax, reports say.

Lillemoen, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was thrown from the truck and died at the scene, reports StarTribune.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
