SAN DIEGO, CA. (THECOUNT) — A horror incident is playing out Saturday morning in San Diego, California, as five people have been found shot dead inside a home. One victim was said to be injured. Three of the dead are said to be children.

San Diego police homicide detectives say they are investigating after finding six people suffering from gunshot injuries Saturday morning at a home in a Paradise Hills neighborhood, authorities said.

Officers responded to the home after receiving a call of shots fired at about 7 a.m., police said.

When officers arrived, they discovered six people shot, including five who were dead, according to LaTimes. Three of the dead are reportedly children.

The victims have been been identified.

The condition of the injured individual was not made available.
