MONROE, LA. (THECOUNT) — Randy Prewitt, a longtime news anchor for Monroe, Louisiana, station, “KNOE,” has passed away. He was 78.
According to family members, Prewitt passed away Friday morning following a long battle with an undisclosed illness.
Randy always had a smile on his face as he delivered the news to the ArkLaMiss for over 35 years, reported KNOE on Friday.
He also authored several cookbooks with recipes he gathered from the many guests he hosted on the show.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by Kilpatrick’s Funeral Home, reports KONE.
