CONCORD, NC. (THECOUNT) — A shooting has occurred late Wednesday afternoon at the North East Medical Center in Concord, North Carolina, according to reports.
The shooting, which is preliminarily being called “accidental,” is currently under investigation Wednesday at the hospital which is located in Cabarrus County.
The incident occurred around 3:30 p.m. at North East Medical Center in Concord, according to WCNC.
“Initial reports are that this was an accidental discharged,” police tweeted. “The shoe of one individual was grazed.”
The facility is located at: 920 Church St N in Concord, NC.
It is unclear if anyone was injured in the incident.
Police said there was no additional threat to the public.
