VA Man Steven Blythe ID’d As Victim In Fatal Friday Night White Plains Single-Vehicle Crash

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, VA. (THECOUNT) — Steven Ray Blythe, from Gasburg, Virginia, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Friday night single-vehicle crash near White Plains, according to Sunday morning reports.

Blythe, 30, who resided in Brodnax, Virginia, was killed in a single-vehicle, sole-occupant crash Friday night on Robinson Ferry Road.

According to reports, Blythe was operating a vehicle in the 3500 block of Robinson Ferry Road after 7:30 p.m. Friday night, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway. The vehicle then struck a row of mailboxes and a tree before coming to a rest.

Blythe was pronounced dead on impact of multiple blunt force trauma injuries.

The crash reports notes that Blythe was not wearing his seatbelt at the time of the violent crash.

Whether alcohol was involved remains under investigation, reports WTKR.
