TERRA ALTA, WV. (THECOUNT) — Aaron Hoard, of Morgantown, WV, and his girlfriend, Machaela Jeffries, are being sought by police in connection to a deadly shooting incident in Preston County, West Virginia, according to reports.
Hoard, 33, and Jeffries, 23, are on-the-run following the deadly shooting of 38-year-old Grant Felton, at a tavern in Terra Alta, West Virginia.
Investigators said the shooting happened at Shorthorns, a saloon in Terra Alta, killing Grant Felton, 38, reports WATE.
Police said Hoard fled left the scene and may now be traveling with Jeffries – and possibly their 1-year-old child.
Police said they have reason to believe Jeffries is helping Hoard evade arrest.
Police said Hoard drives a 2018 black Dodge Ram with decals promoting his business “Custom Concepts Upholstery and Cycle Shop.”
Police said the couple should be considered armed and dangerous.
Anyone who sees them or knows where they are should not contact them and instead call police immediately.
