Ohio Man Sean Cree ID’d As Body Found Near Toledo I-75 Saturday Morning ‘Ejected’ During Crash

TOLEDO, OH. (THECOUNT) — Sean Cree, of Toledo, Ohio, has been identified as the body discovered early Saturday morning on the side of a Toledo interstate, according to reports.

The body of Cree, 31, originally of of Sylvania, was discovered shortly before 4 a.m. Saturday at the I-475 westbound ramp from I-75 northbound.

Officials determined that Cree was operating a vehicle traveling on I-75 towards I-475, when for unknown reasons, he crossed centerlines and exited the roadway. The vehicle then struck a guardrail causing it to cross the roadway and collide with a concrete barrier wall before coming to a rest.

Around 7 p.m., police responded to a vehicle that had crashed into a concrete median. Crews never found anyone in the vehicle, so it was towed. The victim’s brother alerted police that his brother was missing. During the investigation, it was discovered that the victim’s cell phone was in the vehicle that was towed away from Friday night’s crash scene, reports WTOL.

Units responded to the accident scene and located Cree behind a concrete barrier wall on the east side of the roadway.

Cree was ejected from the vehicle during the initial impact.

An investigation into the cause of the crash remains open.
