DANVILLE, KY. (THECOUNT) — Police say they responded to calls of shots fired at the Club 859ers nightclub in Danville on Sunday morning, according to reports.

When police arrived on the scene, they found a 23-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman had been shot.

Police were called to the popular nitespot just before 1:30 a.m. on reports of a possible altercation.

The club is reportedly located at, 512 North 4th Street in Danville, KY.

The man was flown to the University of Kentucky Hospital, while the woman was treated at Ephraim McDowell Hospital.

The condition of the victim was not provided by officials.

Police are still trying to determine what caused the shooting and who else was involved, reports LEX18.

This shooting follows another “shots fired” call back in July.

In July, also on a Sunday, police responded to the club on reports of multiple shots fired.

The police found a vehicle speeding away from club 859ers around 2:30 a.m. and began to start a traffic stop, reported LEX18 at the time.

The vehicle was stopped a short time later and three occupants were arrested in that July incident.
