ME Casella Worker Ryan Leeman ID’d As Victim Fatally Struck By Garbage Truck Tuesday

MILFORD, ME. (THECOUNT) — Ryan Leeman, of Bangor, Maine, has been identified as the victim killed after being struck by a waste management truck on Tuesday afternoon, according to reports.

Leeman, 39, was killed following an incident involving a Casella Waste garbage truck in Milford.

A Casella truck struck and killed Leeman, company officials said – who described Leeman as a – “co-worker.”

The incident happened in a residential neighborhood around 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, reports WMTW.

The exact location of the deadly incident was not provided by officials.

No one else was injured in the collision.

OSHA and Milford authorities are investigating.
