SYDNEY, AU. (THECOUNT) — Xavier Woods has suffered a knee injury while wrestling at the WWE live event in Sydney, Australia.
Details are limited on the severity of the injury but video from the event shows the wrestler needing assistance getting to the backstage area.
Woods was teaming with Big E against SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Revival. During the match, Woods went down while running the ropes and the referee did the “X” gesture to signal for help. Big E ended up continuing the match by himself against Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder, reports WrestlingNews on Monday morning.
Woods will likely get more news on the severity of the injury when he arrives in the United States in a few hours.
