‘As Good As It Gets’ Actress Helen Hunt Hospitalized Following Major Los Angeles Rollover Crash

LOS ANGELES, CA. (THECOUNT) — Oscar winning actress, Helen Hunt, is recovering in a Los Angels hospital after being involved in a major SUV crash Wednesday, according to reports.

Hunt, 56, was involved in a “near fatal” car accident while traveling in a black SUV in the greater Los Angeles area on Wednesday.

The “Twister” actress was hospitalized yesterday afternoon after she was t-boned by another driver. The force of the collision caused the SUV to flip on its side.

Los Angeles police say Hunt was a passenger in the backseat of the vehicle, according to WGAR.

She was later released from the hospital last night claiming no major injuries.

No one has been cited at the scene.

Hunt won an Academy Award for Best Actress for her role in “As Good As It Gets,” also starring Jack Nicholson.
