EUGENE, OR. (THECOUNT) — Oregon man, Stephen Durkee, has been identified as the victim found deceased inside a Eugene home on Sunday, according to reports.

Durkee, 48, was found dead at a Eugene home Sunday in what police are calling a “dispute,” between a group of people.

The sheriff’s office says, deputies responded to a call of a dispute involving three people at 8:40 a.m. Sunday. Arriving deputies located Durkee dead.

Two other individuals were transported to an area hospital for medical treatment of undisclosed injuries.

The sheriff’s office hasn’t said what the dispute was about but on Monday said there’s no indication of a continued threat to the community.

The Lane County Sheriff’s Office said Monday that the cause and manner of Durkee’s death have not yet been determined, reports WashingtonTImes.

Durkee’s last known address was 1927 Lawrence St, in Eugene, OR.

An investigation is ongoing.
