MANCHESTER, UK. (THECOUNT) — A Starbucks in Manchester has been shuttered following a knife attack that injured at least 5 people at the popular morning spot Friday.

Video from the scene showed a man with dark features being tasered on the ground by police outside the building.

Greater Manchester Police have since confirmed that five people were knifed in the attack and have now been taken to hospital in unknown condition.

A man in his 40s has been arrested on suspicion of serious assault. An investigation is being led by Counter Terrorism Police North West and officers are ‘keeping an open mind’ about the motive, a GMP spokesperson said. Police arrest man after disturbance at Manchester Arndale, reports Mirror.
