BRANSON, MO. (THECOUNT) — Katy Collins, a veteran MMA fighter, has passed away, according to Wednesday reports. She was 32.
Collins’ death on September 25 came five days after she suffered a brain aneurysm. One of Collins’ friends said in a Facebook post that the MMA fighter’s aneurysm caused a stroke and subsequent seizures.
Collins is survived by her two young sons. In her fighting career, Collins went by the nickname, Red Dragon. During her career, Collins fought for Bellator, RFA, LFA and Invicta.
