MD Man John Weed ID’d As Victim Fatally ‘Savagely Attacked’ At Great Frederick Fair

FREDERICK COUNTY, MD. (THECOUNT) — Silver Spring, MD man, John Weed, has been identified as the victim killed following an attack at the Great Frederick Fair in Frederick County, Maryland, according to reports.

Frederick County Sheriff Office identified Weed, 59, as the victim “savagely attacked,” while attending the Frederick Fairgrounds – Home of The Great Frederick Fair.

Weed had gone to the fair with his sister and other family members when he was “savagely attacked,” according to LocalDVM.

Investigators do believe it was unprovoked. Officials says because the man died the two suspects, an unnamed 15-year-old and 16-year-old could face manslaughter or murder charges.

Officials also confirmed that the suspects were brothers.
