SC ‘Habitual Traffic Offender’ Jeffrey Mack ID’d As Victim In Tuesday Fatal Head-On Spartanburg Crash

SPARTANBURG, SC. (THECOUNT) — Jeffery Pebro Mack of Columbia, SC, has been identified as the victim killed following a head-on crash in Spartanburg County Tuesday afternoon, according to Highway Patrol.

Mack, who turned 34 last month, was killed in a vehicle crash that sent three others to the hospital with unknown injuries.

The crash occurred after 4:00 p.m. in the area of S Church Street & Burke Street near Victory Baptist Church in Spartanburg.

Troopers say, a vehicle traveling south on Highway 221, when for unknown reasons, it crossed centerlines and into opposing traffic. The vehicle then crashed head-on into an opposing traveling vehicle.

Troopers said three people were taken to the hospital, reports WYFF4.

Mack, the driver that crossed centerlines, was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead of multiple blunt force injuries.
