GRAMERCY PARK, NY. (THECOUNT) — Ric Ocasek, lead singer of iconic musical group, The Cars, died Sunday in his Manhattan home, an NYPD spokesperson said. He was 75.
Ocasek resided on East 19th Street in Manhattan, according to local reports.
Ocasek was found unconscious and unresponsive in bed, police said, as reported by Pix11.
He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2018.
