SILVER CREEK TOWNSHIP, MI. (THECOUNT) — Eduardo Mendoza of Decatur, Michigan, has been identified as the victim in a fatal single-vehicle ejection crash Sunday morning, according to reports.
“Eddie” Mendoza, 24, died after apparently losing control of a vehicle he was operating and exiting the roadway on Sunday morning in Silver Creek Township.
According to officials, Mendoza was operating a vehicle near Yaw St & California Rd in Silver Creek Township, MI. in Silver Creek township just before 4 a.m. Sunday morning, when for unknown reasons, his vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway. The vehicle then rolled over several ejecting Mendoza through the windshield.
Mendoza was pronounced dead at the scene of multiple blunt force trauma injuries.
Investigators are now trying to determine if alcohol was a factor, reports Fox17Online.
