SPRING LAKE TOWNSHIP, MI. (THECOUNT) — Jennylynn Carletto, of Muskegon, MI, has been identified as the victim in a fatal two-vehicle crash near Spring Lake on Friday afternoon, according to Saturday morning reports.
Carletto, 60, was killed in a head-on collision while operating a vehicle on 148th Avenue near Lori Lane, in Spring Lake Township on Friday afternoon.
According to the crash report, a 28-year-old male driver was operating a pickup truck at a high rate of speed when the truck crossed centerlines and made contact with Carletto’s SUV.
Following the force of the violent impact, police say the two vehicles came to rest nearly a city block apart.
The pickup truck driver was not hurt, reports WOODTV.
The crash remains under investigation.
