CINCINNATI, OH. (THECOUNT) — Danielle Brosious has been identified as the Ohio woman struck and killed by lightning on Friday.

“Dani” Brosious, 27, was one of three women struck by lightning as they were exercising near Cincinnati Spring Grove Cemetery on Friday.

Brosious, her mother and a third woman, had apparently taken cover under a large oak tree when it was struck by lightning.

The Spring Grove Cemetery is located at, 4521 Spring Grove Ave, in Cincinnati, OH.

Brosious’ mother was also hit by the lightning but was not seriously injured. The third woman is still hospitalized. Her condition was not provided by officials.

A spokesman for Spring Grove Cemetery said that, just moments before the lightning strike, the women had turned down a ride from a security guard who had seen the storm approaching, reports WTAE.

Dani married Matt Brosious in November. They were set to celebrate their one-year anniversary.
