WISE COUNTY, VA. (THECOUNT) — Hunter Culbertson has been identified as the young man killed early Sunday morning in a motorcycle crash in Wise, Virginia, reports HeraldCourier.

Culbertson, 20, was killed while operating a motorcycle on State Route 646 after midnight in Wise, Virginia State Police said in a press release.

The victim’s motorcycle was traveling along Route 646, when for unknown reasons, it crossed centerlines and exited the roadway. The bike then struck an embankment and a large tree.

Culbertson, who was wearing a helmet a t the time of the violent crash, was pronounced dead at the scene of multiple blunt force trauma injuries.

The crash is still under investigation the VSP press release states.
