36-Year-old ‘Seth Ator’ Identified As Odessa Texas Mass Shooter

ODESSA, TX. (THECOUNT) — Seth Ator has been identified as the deceased shooter who killed seven people and injured at least 20 more in West Texas Saturday, Breaking911 is reporting Sunday.

The shooting spree began at 3:17 p.m. local time during a traffic stop on Interstate 20, where a Texas state trooper was shot while attempting to stop a Honda over a failure to signal a left turn.

The 36-year-old continued into Odessa, Texas, and shot another person on the Interstate. In Odessa, he abandoned the Honda, hijacked a United States Postal Service truck, and continued to shoot people before police cornered and killed him in a short firefight in the parking lot of a Cinergy movie theater.

Mary Granados has been identified as the postal worker killed in a mass shooting in Odessa, Texas on Saturday.

A Texas shooter, now deceased, hijacked Granados’ mail truck then shot and killed her during the tragic shooting spree.

Nathan and Leila Hernandez were also shot, according to their GoFundMe page. Nathan survived and is in the hospital. Leila was killed.

At the time of the shooting, The University of Texas of the Permian Basin issued the following message:
