LOS ANGELES, CA. (THECOUNT) — Several people have been wounded after a female shooter opened fire in downtown Los Angeles Thursday, according to reports.

LAPD officers are investigating a quadruple Skid Row shooting after a woman apparently opened fire on a group of two males and two females Thursday around noon.

According to officials, four people appear to have been shot in an incident which locals have reported is possibly gang-related.

Police say the female shooter is still at large, according Mirror.

There was a heavy police presence in the area after the shooting and paramedics could also be seen at the scene.

Initial reports indicated two people had been shot, but officers found four people injured at the scene.

Three injured were transported to area hospitals. Their condition was not immediately provided by officials.
