WATERBURY, CT. (THECOUNT) — Missing Connecticut woman, Perrie Mason, is believed to be the human remains discovered on Brookside Road Wednesday evening.
Mason, 31, was reported missing Monday. Her fiance, Jason Watson, has been arrested, according to reports.
According to Waterbury officers, they are assisting Meriden Police Department, which is conducting the investigation. A state police K9 unit is patrolling the area.
Police were observed at the scene lifting the contents of a white bag onto a stretcher and into a Connecticut State Police Major Crime Squad van, reports Rep-AM.
Mason has not been officially identified as the body by officials.
A cause of death was not provided.
