OKEECHOBEE, FL. (THECOUNT) — The Okeechobee County Sheriff’s Office says it’s investigating a shooting complaint at a Walmart.
It’s unknown if anyone was shot at the store. Reports from the scene show the building being evacuated.

The Walmart is located in Okeechobee at 2101 S. Parrott Avenue.
The sheriff’s office said it’s taking the necessary steps to ensure the safety of the public, and the agency is asking people to avoid the area, reports WPTV.
Investigators said no other businesses, schools, or public county-run agencies are affected.
